Email is still the best channel you own
Social platforms change their rules every year. Your email list is yours, and it still gets read.

If Facebook decides tomorrow that business posts should reach fewer people, there’s nothing you can do. Your email list is different. Nobody can take it away or charge you to reach it.
Start small
You don’t need a weekly newsletter. One useful email a month is plenty. A seasonal checklist, a local event, a new service. Something your customers would forward to a friend.
Three emails every business should send
- A welcome email when someone new joins your list.
- A thank-you after a purchase or appointment, with a link to leave a review.
- A “we miss you” email to customers you haven’t seen in a year.
Keep it personal
Write like you talk. Sign it with your name. Short emails from a real person get opened more than polished ones from a logo.
